It gives me immense pride to welcome you to Dharanidhar University, Keonjhar, an institution blessed with a rich historic legacy and a strong foundation in academic excellence, particularly in disciplines such as Geology. As we step into a new chapter, our vision is clear: to transform this historic institution into a globally benchmarked, AI-empowered, innovation-driven, industry relevant and socially responsive public university.

I firmly believe in the transformative power of education; universities must serve as engines of innovation and active instruments for eradicating poverty within the communities they serve. We stand at a critical juncture where we must foster an environment that beautifully balances tradition with technology. By integrating the Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) with modern science and technology, we aim to anchor our academic pursuits in our deep cultural heritage while empowering our students to lead with intellect, ethics, empathy, and purpose.

To prepare students for a complex world, we are implementing a multidisciplinary, learner-centric curriculum aligned with NEP 2020 and emphasizing a “Vocal for Local” philosophy.
