Chairman, P.G Council, Dharanidhar University

It comprises 17 Regular & 3 SFC PG Depts of the University. It was constituted vide one Notification of our esteemed OSD /VC Prof Pratap Kumar Mohanty on the 23rd August 23 coterminous with successful landing of Vikram ,Chandrayana on the southern part of Moon.

20 HoD / Coordinators are members of PG Council. In the absence of Syndicate of the University PG Council has hegemony in the gamut of Policy Paradigm / Transformation of the University. It is the cornerstone of Academics / Pedagogical scenario of the University. Chairman PG Council is the Academic head of the University.PG Council incorporates Academics , Examination , Admission , Library ,Sports , Residence Committee comprising all the Hostels, Cultural Committee , Discipline Committee,Seminar / Conference ,Sports Council ,NSS Bureau etc.
During my tenure proposal for opening of 29 new Subjects under various Schools with creation of new Post of 29 Professors ,58 Associate Professors &116 Assistant Professors have been placed with HE Dept Govt of Odisha.

Independence Day , Teacher’s Day ,Ganesh Puja , International Literacy Day , World Fraternity Day, , NSS Day , Gandhi Jayanti , National Seminar by PG Dept of Political Science , NUA O Naveen Odisha Yuva Odisha , Workshop by B.Ed with signing of MoU with Ravenshaw University on 24th December 23 . , National Youth Day , National Seminar by PG Dept of Commerce & Management ,World Odia Language Conclave ,Ist Foundation Day of the University , Saraswati Puja organised centrally by the University ,Visit of her excellency the President of India for inauguration of National Seminar on Tribes of Keonjhar ,People , Culture & Heritage & observation of International Women’s Day are glimpses of important activities of this University with vibrant role of Chairman PG Council.Meetings of PG Council were held on 25th August,19th October ,20th December ,5th January 24 ,9th January 25 th January ,1st February ,7th February ,17th February,24th February & 7th March 24.Recently initiatives undertaken by PG Council for finalisation of Workload Statement of all the UG & PG Depts for Advertisement of engagement of Retired Professors ,Associate Professors , Assistant Professors ,Guest Faculties of this University vide Notification of HE Dept Govt of Odisha Dt Ist February 24.
