Student Scholarship

To encourage bright and industrious students, who come from underprivileged backgrounds, the university with the support of state and central governments provides financial assistance through numerous scholarship schemes. A few non-government trusts also offer financial assistance to students. There are scholarships, that act as incentives for students to perform well in academics such as the e-medhabruti scheme of the Government of Odisha and the National Scholarship offered by UGC. Some of the schemes like the Post-Matric Scholarship instituted by the Government of Odisha are particularly helpful for students, who belong to marginalized sections of society. Over the years, some students have benefitted from the state-supported initiatives and graduated with flying colors.

Dr. Niraja Nalini Nayak (Assistant Professor, Department of English) is presently the Nodal officer of the scholarship cell of the university.
