Department Of Zoology

Matching with the University philosophy of integrated approach to the modern areas of Science and Technology, the Department of Zoology was established in the year1983. Since then the Department is engaged in providing quality education to the selected students and contributing to the field of modern biology. From the time of its inception, the Department moves on its path of success to achieve academic excellence.
The Department offers regular courses in +2 Science, B.Sc (Honors) & M. Sc in Zoology. Our faculties and students continue to contribute towards updating and upgrading the curriculum. We follow CHSE course curriculum at +2 level, Model CBCS syllabus at UG level and our framed syllabus for PG level the matches with the industries.

HOD's Message

It is a matter of honour for me to be the Founder Head of the Department of this esteemed University having a glorious legacy in catering academic needs in this tribal district Keonjhar. I am determined to completely utilize my entire potential, experience and energy to ameliorate the standard of the department to an eminent center for learning and research. My focus would be on academic excellence and I would strive that the department may prove its distinction through imparting quality education, research and other academic activities properly amalgamated with community needs of this district.
